Sinking Descent Scenario

The stern’s path should be a loose spiral, from point of bow and stern departure. This would have likely been induced by the air in the stern of the ship. Shedding vortices from implosions and subsequent explosions would have complicated the path.

The bow’s path should mimic a dive / stall / dive, with the mean line never exceeding 12.5 degrees from vertical. There should be 5.5-6 cycles of this dive / stall / dive from break up to the bottom. The ship was completing a stall as she hit the sea floor.
